Israel’s deputy Prime Minister Moshe Ya’alon has give a statement about the missiles.  The missiles were being experienced at a site near Tehran that was smashed three months ago and they were ‘aimed at America, not at us’.

Israel is showing threats against Iran without any solid reason. Mr Ya’alon said Iran is creating ‘a nightmare for the free world’. Iran, which is blamed of preparing to build a nuclear bomb, says it will retaliate over Western-backed oil sanctions and any attack threat. Where the report from U.S is that the U.S. doesn’t believe Iran is producing such a long-range missile, but Leon Panetta, Defense Secretary, is still it sounds as if fearful of a growing chance Israel would attack Iran as early as April.

On the other hand, news from Iran, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has concerned severe warnings against any possible U.S. or Israeli attacks against Tehran’s nuclear facilities. Iranian officials and lawmakers constantly have threatened to close the strait, which conduits down to a waterway no wider than 30 miles (50 kilometers) at the mouth of the Gulf, in retaliation for sanctions that affect Iran’s oil exports. But they have as yet made no attempts to disrupt shipping through the waterway, and the U.S. and other Western powers have warned they would respond swiftly to any attempts at a blockade.

Iran is showing its full confidence about U.S. or Israel attack. Iran warns world of coming great occurrence, ‘Islam Will Be Victorious’. Amid crippling sanctions over its nuclear weapons program, Iran is continuing to prepare itself for war against the West, and now is warning of a coming great event. ‘In light of the realization of the divine promise by almighty God, the Zionists and the Great Satan (America) will soon be defeated,’ Ayatollah Khamenei, the Iranian supreme leader, is warning. Khamenei, speaking to hundreds of youths from more than 70 countries attending a world conference on the Arab Spring just days ago, told a cheering crowd in Tehran that ‘Allah’s promises will be delivered and Islam will be victorious.

It’s not right to assume that Iran is threatening anyone. Iran’s Supreme Leader just warns Israel, U.S. – “Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, threatened Israel on Friday, saying the Islamic Republic will help any nation or group that confronts the Jewish State, The Associated Press reported. In remarks to worshippers during Friday prayers in Tehran which were broadcast on state TV, Khamenei said Iran would continue its nuclear program and warned that any military strike by the U.S. would only make Iran stronger. He affirmed that Iran had provided assistance to terror groups Hizbullah and Hamas, AP reported.

Israel fears that Iran is fast approaching a point at which a limited military strike no longer would be enough to head off an Iranian bomb.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and defense minister Ehud Barak have been increasingly vocal in expressing concern that Israel might be running out of time.

‘The world has no doubt that Iran’s nuclear program is steadily nearing readiness and is about to enter an immunity zone,’ Mr Barak said, reported Bloomberg.

They had a minion assemble the photo album of Ms. Rice. Which brings us to the matter at hand today, the ransacking of Colonel Qaddafi’s compound under way in Tripoli. From miss Condoleezza Rice side, who has charmed diplomats from Rome (the Italian foreign minister, Massimo D’Alema) to London (Foreign Minister Jack Straw of Britain) to Pictorial, Nova Scotia (the Canadian dip lo-hunk Peter McKay), perhaps the strangest of all has always been Col. This is not confined to the IT arena. “India will emerge as a strong manufacturing base,” predicts Janat Shah, a professor of production and operations management at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB) and founder-chairperson of its Center for Supply Chain Management. Jagdish Sheth, marketing professor at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School in Atlanta, adds that India will become “a second sourcing destination” for the world economy.

The numbers have already started signaling this development. In March, a new United Nations Industrial Development Organization report put India as one of the top 10 manufacturers in 2010. “India tops developing countries (China excluded) in production of textiles, chemical products, basic metals, general machinery and equipment, and electrical machinery,” the report noted. In motor vehicle production, the country has overtaken Brazil and is behind only Mexico among developing countries. India’s manufacturing value added has grown by over 10%, compared to 3.4% for the industrialized countries. The share of China, India and Brazil in world manufacturing output is now 32%, up from 20% a decade ago.

Mr. Aristide helped lead a popular revolt that ended the Duvalier family’s nearly 30-year dictatorship. He became president in Haiti’s first democratic elections in 1990, was soon ousted in a coup in 1991 but then returned to power in 1994 after the United States military forced out the military regime.

Mr. Aristide was re-elected in 2000 in an election boycotted by the major opposition parties, and while he inspired great loyalty among the poor he was criticized by many for corruption, an autocratic style of leadership and the violent suppression of political opponents.

Amid an armed uprising, led in part by former members of the Haitian Army that Mr. Aristide had disbanded, he left Haiti on Feb. 29, 2004. He has said American diplomats kidnapped him, but the United States has long denied the accusation.With Haitian elections tense, fragile affairs in normal times, it remained unclear what effect Mr. Aristide, a polarizing figure beloved by the poor but dismissed by others as corrupt and autocratic, might yield on the country. He has said he is coming back just to work on his educational foundation, but Western diplomats working to keep him out of the country were skeptical given the timing of his return.

Opposition leaders Mirhossein Mousavi’s and Mehdi Karoubi’s websites have called for nationwide rallies on Sunday, which they also said were intended to show “decisive support to the pro-reform movement and its leaders.”

“They will be confronted as per the law,” the official IRNA news agency quoted Interior Minister Mostafa Mohammad Najjar as saying, when asked about planned opposition rallies.

The authorities, seeking to avoid revival of the mass anti- government rallies that erupted after the disputed 2009 presidential vote, say they will confront any “illegal” gatherings by the opposition, state media reported.

Hundreds  of people poured into the streets in protest to the result of the election. Opposition says scores were killed in massive crackdown on the protest demonstration. Government brought the number to about 30.The opposition leader said hundreds of hardliners have gathered in front of his home over the past night and filled the air with anti-opposition chants and threats to his life.

By the leaders of the minority parties have stated that South Korea should stop its military drills right away. This means that ordinary citizens cannot help being divided in their opinions.

The announcement of  North Korea about the provocation that was not worth a response but stock market stabilized as foreign investors bought the stocks that South Koreans had sold out of fear for the future. About 1,350 residents of Yeonpyeong were happy to be able to return home.

According to media reports, South Korea does not want the capsizing accident to develop into a diplomatic issue, so it is willing to work with the Chinese government to solve the problem. China and South Korea seem to have agreed that the resulting friction needs to be handled calmly.

Lee has found revived public support for the tougher approach to North Korea he promised when elected in 2008, after two attacks this year raised tension on the peninsula to its highest in decades. North Korea shelled a South Korean island last month, killing four people, and was blamed for sinking the Cheonan warship in March, in which 46 sailors died.

Lee replaced his defense minister and army head following the Nov. 23 artillery barrage, vowing to strengthen the military and respond more harshly to any further North Korean attacks.

A poll by the Seoul-based Asan Institute for Policy Studies released four days after the shelling showed more than 80 percent of South Koreans believed their government should have displayed a “stronger military response.” Anger at the artillery barrage spurred a 37 percent jump in applications to join South Korea’s Marine Corps this month from a year earlier.

The citizens of South Korea have united: 87 percent of people are united against North Korea, and public opinion is strongly in favor of retaliation against North Korea’s atrocity. The patience of South Koreans has run out.

It is clear that South Korea is in a serious crisis now, and with the successful finish of the military drill, now is the time to unite. North Korea must be aware that their hit and run tactics, which they’ve used to divide opinions in South Korea, are no longer effective against a united South. It’s now certain that pro-North Korean groups have less and less ground to stand upon.

Looking back on Sino-ROK relations over the past year, most of the so-called friction between the two countries relates to differences on how to deal with North Korea. These differences concern peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula, but also security and development in Northeast Asia as a whole.

China, South Korea and North Korea are all looking at the deeper causes of these “differences.”

But there is an external factor that cannot be neglected – the shift eastward of US strategic focus, otherwise known as the US policy of “returning to East Asia.” This has intensified frictions between China and South Korea.

It should be expected at this point that China would strongly take North Korea’s side once again. They claim that South Korea should cease their military drills, because they may lead to another South and North Korea conflict.

Being asked to show restraint is simply too much, especially since North Korea shelled the island indiscriminately and without warning. Russia, who had previously criticized North Korea’s atrocities, have reversed their attitude and have joined China on North Korea’s side, proposing to petition the U.N. Security Council to stop the live-fire drill in Yeonpyeong.

Such assumptions are rising in political edges according to analysts and many  of the  President Barack Obama’s Republican adversaries who begrudged him key victories in late this year including a nuclear arms reduction treaty with Russia and repeal of a ban on openly gay troops.

President Obama’s congressional achievements become in danger when the  unemployment issue suddenly rose more than the 10 percent mark and the upstart ultra conservative Tea Party movement galvanized American voters frustrated over the economy and Washington.

According to a White House statement, the two presidents spoke by phone on the first day of Obama’s Hawaiian holiday after Congress adjourned Wednesday in a flurry of legislative action, including the Senate vote to pass the treaty.

That carried over into mounting disaffection for Obama, whose party suffered a thrashing at the mid-term elections on November 2.

Several senators were reassured by the last-minute passage of an amendment stating that the accord should not be interpreted in a way that would hamper U.S. missile defense plans. The amendment was sponsored by Republican senators John McCain of Arizona and Bob Corker of Tennessee, among others.

And yet despite that defeat, the Democrats, who in January pass control of the House to Republicans while keeping a diminished majority in the Senate, rallied in the eight-week lame duck session that marks the period before a shift in congressional power.

Within a few weeks, Congress managed to extend temporary Bush-era tax cuts, end the “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” rule to allow gays to serve openly in the military for the first time and, on the final day of the session, ratify the new START nuclear disarmament treaty with Russia.

Obama was beaming on Wednesday, highlighting his own persistence — “If I believe in something strongly, I stay on it” — and the bipartisan compromise that allowed the laws to squeeze through.

“I think it’s fair to say that this has been the most productive post-election period we’ve had in decades,” Obama said.

Even some political adversaries were impressed. Senator Lindsey Graham said his fellow Republicans “capitulated” to Democratic pressure, but in the end the lawmaker took his hat off to Obama and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

“When people say President Obama had a great two weeks, they’re absolutely right,” Graham told Fox News Radio.

Others said they had been assured of an administration commitment to modernize America’s aging nuclear arsenal.

“The people of the world are watching us, because they rely on our leadership,” said Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman John Kerry, D-Massachusetts. It is time to “move the world a little more out of the dark shadow of nuclear nightmare.”

“We are the leading nuclear power on this earth. It is our responsibility to lead,” said Sen. Byron Dorgan, D-North Dakota. This treaty is “a step in the right direction.”

Indiana Sen. Richard Lugar, the top Republican on the Foreign Relations Committee, called it a step forward in terms of constraining “expensive arms competition with Russia” and frustrating “rogue nations who would prefer as much distance as possible between the United States and Russia.”

Not all Republicans were convinced of the treaty’s merits, however.

Sen. Jim DeMint, R-South Carolina, argued on the Senate floor that the basic premise of the treaty — that America’s nuclear arsenal should be at parity with Russia’s — is flawed.

“Russia is a protector of none and a threat to many. America is a protector of many and a threat to none,” DeMint said.
