But in 2012, here is the new mood more obvious than in Brazil, which recently passed Britain as the world’s sixth-largest economy. In spite of some recent economic weakness, Brazil’s unemployment rate is at a historic low of 4.7 percent. The recent economic crises, market crashes and coming out of millions of people from dire poverty, not only in Brazil but also in neighboring countries, is encouraging some in Latin America to hit back at those who used to dispense advice to the region so freely.

The anxiety which had been witnessed on a expedition to Brussels reminded him of the early 1990s, when there was the Venezuelan planning minister trying to overcome the kind of economic quagmire that plagued many Latin American countries for much of the 1980s and 1990s.

A long series of crises changed that, and Argentina experienced a frightening financial collapse just a decade ago. Since then, thanks partly to soaring commodities prices, economic growth has outstripped even that of neighboring Chile, whose market-friendly policies are often held up as a model.

For many months now, Latin Americans have been monitoring the constant drumbeat of crises in developed countries with bewilderment, irony and, yes, even a bit of it. To them, Europe and the United States are displaying problems once associated with their region, which, not long ago, was a perennial champion in financial crises and bailouts.

Germany, Europe’s dominant economic power, gave the strongest signal yet that it would allow the roughly 250 billion Euros left in the temporary rescue fund to be tapped once the permanent fund is set up. Such a step would boost Europe’s unspent crisis-fighting capacity to around 750 billion Euros. In addition, 150 billion Euros would be pledged by euro-area central banks to the IMF.

The cause is still unknown, but the lift was put on hold Tuesday morning because of high wind speeds.

The Spillway East lift rope derailed from the eighth tower at about 10:30 a.m., while carrying 220 passengers. Five chairs fell 25 to 30 feet to the ground below, Sugarloaf officials said in a press release.

While the incident is still under investigation, Austin suggested that high winds might have caused the derailment.

The resort was not operating the failed lift and two others early in the day because of winds but deemed them safe to use before the accident at 10:15 a.m., said Ethan Austin, spokesman for Sugarloaf. The resort said the cable that supports the chairs jumped off track. Winds were about 40 mph at the time and an estimated 220 people were on the lift.

“We’re kind of known as a windy mountain,” he said.

The lift was built in 1975, updated in 1983and was properly licensed and inspected for 2010, said Doug Dunbar of Maine Department of Professional and Financial Regulation.

Fifty-five year-old Ed Rose was on one of the chairs that derailed from a lift at Sugarloaf. He is one of eight people who went to Franklin Memorial Hospital with injuries. Two of those people were transported to Maine Medical Center with serious injuries, one of by Life flight. Rose’s daughter Alison was ten chairs behind him. She says her father was able to walk away, and found her after she was rescued from lift. Rose says when the chairs derailed it took her awhile to process exactly what was happening.

“We didn’t know what was going on because there was like a huge scream and a crash, you look down and there’s like twenty chairs on the ground” Rose said.

Wade Edwards Foundation was established by her after the death of her son and had aimed at aiding high school children. She then took up the role of an adjunct instructor at the University of North Carolina School of  Law and parallel worked as a substitute teacher in the Wake County Public Schools.

She was  suffering with cancer although but yet another battle that she had to combat while she had suffered the death of her son Wade Edwards, who was killed in a Jeep crash and the infidelity of her husband, who publicly confessed about fathering a child with another woman. This marked the end of  her marital relationship, filing for a divorce, which required a compulsory separation for a year.

She was not hopeless till her last moment due to  illness or other adversities that she encountered did not deter her from the being a dynamic personality. In August 2009, she came up with a furniture store in Chapel Hill.

She authored, Saving Graces, Finding Solace and Strength from Friends and Strangers, focusing on the death of her son and her illness. She launched her second book in May 2009, Resilience: Reflections on the Burdens and Gifts of Facing Life’s Adversities, opening up with the odds that she encountered owing to her illness, the deaths of her father and son, her husband’s infidelity and the overall state of health care in the US.

She was the Ex. wife of former presidential candidate John Edwards but john is still with her in these days and wants to make these days comfortable for her.
Doctors exposed that illness had been spread to her bones and it was no longer curable but treatable and they are doing so. she was more than a political spouse. She was chief adviser and strategist to her husband’s campaigns for the Senate and later for the presidency before sepreation. After retreating from public life as their marriage crumbled, she emerged to advocate for changes in the country’s health care system while grappling with her own disease.
Elizabeth Edwards was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2004 but later on it spreads and got more dangerous.
From Edwards family sources to NBC News, doctors told Edwards last week that her cancer has reached the point where aggressive treatment is no longer advisable. She is receiving treatment for symptoms and is not in pain and she is comfortable.
Mr. Edwards Although separated from his wife after news of his extramarital affair became public, Edwards is with her at their home in North Carolina, along with their children, extended family and friends. She remains well enough to receive visitors.

Anita Hill Going To Apologize?

It is quite shocking and  unbelievable that after 20 years, sexually harassed issue could be created.  Anita Hill initially helped by the police, thinking she was being pranked when the wife of a Supreme Court Justice, Virginia Thomas to call out of the blue and ask for an “apology” , not lying under oath nearly twenty years prior about being sexually harassed. What a mass!!!

The Justice of supreme court,  Clarence Thomas and his wife,  Virginia Thomas,  a nonprofit organization set up to “restore the greatness of America,” in part by opposing the leftist “tyranny” of President Obama and Democrats in Congress. Its first contributions of $500,000 and $50,000 came from undisclosed donors. The size of those gifts, their anonymity and their importance to the organization raise a serious issue of ethics for Justice Thomas.

Sarah Field, an executive of  Liberty Central,told The Times  that the organization pays Mrs. Thomas. Justice Thomas is a beneficiary of that pay and has a responsibility under federal law to “inform himself” about who the donors are because they have an impact on Mrs. Thomas’s personal financial interests.

Mrs. Thomas is not legally required to disclose the donors. That is unfortunate, but she does have a duty to do so, just as former President Bill Clinton had a duty to disclose the donors to his library and charitable ventures when his wife became secretary of state.

Its the time to wait all America can do right now and in 2 weeks get out and vote their consciences, vote to send an unambiguous message to Washington that the change we have seen so far and future changes threatened by Democrats are not the changes promised in 2008.

The venerable, old saying that we should be careful of what we wish for is directly related to what the expected flood of Republicans into D.C. do when they get there.

Here is a question. Should they revert to George W. Bush policies of spending like drunken Democrats, there will be and should be a reverse tsunami in 2012 with Democrats returning a masses, and with Obama being re-elected.

Bill Gates , who ever wants to do something like awesome, as  an avowed eugenicist has now committed to drastically slow down the world’s population  for the next healthy century in the name of combating global warming. That is now given the fact that the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation funds of millions dollars the production and distribution of vaccines to the third world.

The world’s  opinion about Bill Gates as  an advocate for what has been described as “death panels.” Gates  stance on the issue has been a source of controversy among conservative commentators, but most actually overlook the fact that Gates is known as a hardcore eugenicist who has claimed that the global population is too high. His Bill Gates fund is known for donating millions of dollars every year toward vaccines.

Bill  made his comments about the “death panels,” which would allow individuals who are suffering from the worst and most painful diseases to end their lives on their own terms, at the Aspen Ideas Festival which is held in Aspen Colorado every year. The comments did not garner all that much attention, until a video clip of his speech appeared on a number of conservative blogging sites on Sunday.During a question and response meeting, implicit that older patients undergoing overpriced  fear treatments should be killed and the money spent elsewhere.
Enterpriser said there was a “need of willingness” to take the sentence of choosing between “disbursal a cardinal dollars on that lowest troika months of living for that forbearing” or paying of ten teachers.
“But that’s called the ending commission and you’re not questionable to change that speech,” adscititious Enterpriser.
