Danica Patrick began the Daytona International Speedway race in the 12th starting position. The defending race winner, James Buescher will start from the pole after a lap at 181.543 mph. Danica Patrick raced at the top o the race for her first two laps and then Patrick ran in second place, while Patrick tried to stay close to the yellow line the whole time racing in the Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200 ARCA Race.
