There are many who think that Tiger Woods “mistress” Jaimee Grubbs was planning to sabotage Tiger Woods all along. They cite keeping text messages and saving voicemails as the reasons. After all – who saves text messages?

At this time, Tiger Woods hasn’t officially admitted to the alleged affair with Jaimee Grubbs.

Uchitel firmly denies any involvement with Woods, Grubbs proudly promotes what she claims are sexy texts from the king of swing, and Moquin coyly refuses comment, Woods has issued a statement in which he says he has let his family down and regrets “transgressions.”

Tiger Woods just can’t escape the issue firing thrown at him about Rachel Uchitel (pictures), to whom he had an affair with which allegedly caused the recent car accident he experienced.

Another issue is arising. According to TMZ.com, Jamie Grubbs, 24, told US Weekly about this matter and he is willing to provide proof of text messages and voicemails exchanged with the pro golfer.

“If Tiger goes out and wins the Masters, it’s business as usual,” Scott Becher, president of Boca Raton, Florida-based Sports & Sponsorships, said in a telephone interview.

Woods won six of 17 events he played on the U.S. PGA Tour this season and led all players with $10.5 million in prize money. He ended the year by capturing the season-long FedEx Cup title for the second time, a championship that included a $10 million bonus.

After investigating the accident for four days, the Florida Highway Patrol said yesterday that Woods would be cited for careless driving in the crash early on Nov. 27 outside his home near Orlando, and that he faced no further charges.

‘Embarrassing’

Woods said in a Nov. 29 statement that the crash was his fault and the situation was “obviously embarrassing to my family and me.” He asked for privacy and made no reference to the reports of marital problems that already were circulating.

He declined to speak with police about the accident, in which his Cadillac sport-utility vehicle struck a fire hydrant and a tree as he was leaving his Windermere, Florida, house about 2:20 a.m. local time.

Police said yesterday that Woods would be fined $164 for careless driving, and that there was insufficient evidence to get medical records in the case. Woods was treated for facial cuts after the crash.

After issuing the citation to Woods, who will also receive four points on his driving record, the investigation will be closed and police will not pursue criminal charges against the golfer or his wife, Elin, police said.
Insisting that those transgressions were a private matter and “felt by us alone”, Woods, the world’s first billionaire sportsman, promised to “strive to be a better person, and the husband and father that my family deserves”.

Woods, who is married to a former Swedish model and has two young children , had faced growing speculation over his private life after a US gossip magazine claimed he had been having an affair with Rachel Uchitel, a New York nighclub hostess.

Miss Uchitel denied the claims but two rival magazines have since named two more women, a Los Angeles cocktail waitress and a Las Vegas nightclub promoter.

Jaimee Grubbs, the waitress, told Us Weekly she was 21 when she was approached by Woods at a Las Vegas nightclub in April 2007.

She claimed they had had a “clandestine on-off affair” ever since and – most embarrassingly for Woods – had hundreds of text and voicemail messages to prove it.

In a voice message published on the magazine’s website today, a man identifying himself as “Tiger” pleaded with her to take her name off her voicemail greeting as “my wife went through my phone and may be calling you”.

He said: “I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all my heart…I am dealing with my behaviour and personal failings behind closed doors with my family.”

Insisting that those transgressions were a private matter and “felt by us alone”, he promised to “strive to be a better person, and the husband and father that my family deserves”.

Meanwhile, a friend of Kalika Moquin, a 27-year-old club promoter in Las Vegas, has told Life & Style magazine that she and Woods have “hooked up a bunch of times”.

“Tiger told Kalika that married life isn’t all it’s built up to be,” said the friend.

Miss Moquin told the magazine: “It’s not appropriate for me to comment one way or another.”

Woods pulled out his own golf tournament this week after being injured in an early morning car crash outside his home in Florida.

His wife, Elin Nordegren, told police she broke the back windows of his car with a golf club to help him get out after he drove into a fire hydrant and a tree.
