The basic agenda of the meeting was to lower the political temperature of the country which was at peak during the last week due to the notification regarding the appointment of judges. The PM also wanted to clear his position on judiciary issues as he assured Mr. Sharif that government will appoint the judges as per constitutional procedure.

On the very next day of that assureity the Government acted entirelly agaist.

This discussion was fully based on Charter of Democracy, joint strategy to provide relief to the masses, judiciary and implement its judgments, and Murree Declaration.

The Head of Pakistan Muslim league- N emphases to fulfill the commitments made by PPP leadership for explosion of 17th Amendment act upon POD and supreme court judgment regarding NRO.

The Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Senator Ishaq Dar, Husain Nawaz, and Chief of Army Staff General Kiyani was also present in this meeting. The primer minister Gilani discussed with Sharif and his PML-N team about implementation of the Charter, steps needed to strengthen state institutions and relief measures for the masses.

This meeting was continued about one and half hour.
