Mindy Lawton, according to her sister, Lynn Lawton, is very naive and extremely vulnerable. As Lynn Lawton said:

Then there is Tiger Woods’ mistress number six. Reportedly, it is Cori Rist. Sources told the Daily News that Manhattan club goer Cori Rist, 31, is yet another blonde who has dallied with Tiger. There isn’t much known about Cori Rist yet. However, numbering these mistresses is become tedious. After all, should we say Mistress x is Tiger Woods’ 4th Mistress (or 5th, or 6th) depending upon when they were outed or when the affair occurred? Jamie Jungers, Mindy Lawson, and Cori Rist are all notches in Tiger’s belt, apparently, though only one seems to truly be a disillusioned victim.

There’s no indication that strength and conditioning coach Chris Carlisle is going anywere, but Sarkisiain did hire away a couple of USC’s other strength coaches.

Keep an eye on what Carroll does with his special teams — a unit that doesn’t have a full-time coach. McNair heads up those responsibilities, with most of the other assistants contributing. Watson has played an important role and may be able to give the unit more attention in 2009.

Putting aside any questions about the ethics of dating a student, Carroll is a married man. If he’s having an affair and living with a graduate student, then we’re looking at another Rick Pitino story minus the extortion. Having a story like this get out in the media could be damaging for Pete in recruiting; some parents might not want to send their son to play for a known adulterer, particularly mothers or single mothers. Carroll, as you would have expected, has already denied Weis’ allegations: “It’s untrue, it’s irresponsible, and it’s incredible he’d be talking about me like that.” If it’s so untrue, then where the heck is Weis getting his information? I’m guessing there has to be at least some truth to the story, partial truths at the least. Combine USC’s season with this story and the heat certainly has been turned up on the USC program.
